Dense & condensed, this new expansion of the Proto series packs more in less space. Proto Slab Condensed digs deepers into the realm of the “Proto” pattern that was initiated in 2014. This latest development explores the “dark corners” of slab typefaces, by blending multiples influences of the early 20th century.
In Proto Slab Condensed, the weights do not mathematically match those of the regular Proto Slab. So that, if you play mix & match with other members of the family (like Grotesk, Mono or Slab), the result is a more harmonious fit. Counter intuitive? Yes, but it works.
